Location. Location. Location. Just 5 -10 minute walk to Thereseawiesen and the Oktoberfest grounds. 5 minute walk to U-Bahn train station. Many nearby stores and restaurants.
Very, very small rooms. Bathrooms are also tiny.

It was just a proper fit for a transient stop in Munich with value for money. The breakfast spread included freshly baked bread and delicious local cheeses, making mornings pleasant. Make sure to ask for directions to the nearby tram for easy city access.

Bookings.com offered a great price for this hotel during the booked out Oktoberfest. I prefered going with a traditional looking hotel since we wanted to enjoy some Bavarian flair. Once arrived at the hotel we realized the perfect walking distance to the Oktoberfest, the Tain Station and the City Center (30 min walk). The buildings on the opposite street side are also nice to look at, the surroundings tend more to be plain. The street in front of the hotel is very busy but if you plan a trip to the city you expect that. There were a few drunken people at night in the hotel who spoke loudly in the hallway and also the clinging of the breakfast dishes the next morning was heard in my bed (1st floor) - the insulation of walls /doors really isn't that of a 5* hotel; but then book and pay for 5*. The service was super nice, the bar was beautifully traditional and once could stay at the hotel at night and enjoy a light snack such as cheese/ham bread and butter (cold platter) or a toast snack. Breakfast is also totally good. I would book it every day again.

Atmospheric decor captures Bavarian spirit, with intriguing details that create a cozy feel. Staff members are friendly and accommodating, notably offering flexible check-in which was a nice touch. The room felt small and was overpriced, particularly given its cramped size and lack of amenities, leading to disappointment. Noise from nearby streets could also be a concern for light sleepers.
